Ok. So, I actually went to the gym recently. I can’t believe after all this time I was able to even make this attempt!! Worked up a little sweat on treadmill for about 25minutes and worked the abs a little. When muscles started to cramp a little, I did some stretches. Then I had a footbath. After that, I slept for the rest of the day. I thought I was ok. The next day I did some housework. Well apparently I over did it!!! By the day after that, I couldn’t walk. I was back to relying on the cane. It was agony all over, muscles, joints and everything in between. Then I called the Breath of Life Wellness Center to schedule a Raindrop. Of course I had some immediate relief after the Raindrop. But, the next day I was still in a fair amount of discomfort. I find it strange, but for some reason I have continued improvement for days after receiving
Raindrop and now I’m back to my status quo. The other night, while dealing with a disrespectful (needless to say) emotional teenage girl, I experienced a severe attack of muscle seizure. The INTENSE pain was really indescribable. After a few deep breaths the pain lessened to the point where I could make my way to the kitchen and prepare the Calcium Plus Calm. Although I take this regularly, I never felt such immediate results. Iwas overcome with a complete sense of relaxation. It was exactly what my body needed.
Amy.
More sever than the joint pain associated with Fibromyalgia is the
seizing of muscles and the wrenching agony caused by it. I have been
literally paralyzed mid stride and brought to the floor by such pain.
It is beyond upsetting to feel such spasms and have absolutely no
control over your body. Although I had some improvement prior to my 1st Raindrop Technique at The Breath of Life, I have since experienced a significant reduction in the number and severity of these episodes.
Even so, I have some specific spots where I have knots in my muscles
that never actually go completely away. I’m always a little achy by the end of each day and the pain is concentrated in these spots. After I get a Raindrop these areas are much less tense and while not
eliminating the knots completely, they are minimized for an extended
period of time after the receiving the technique.
Peace- Amy
Wow!! I have recently tried topical magnesium gel. I am so excited!!
Since I’ve had Fibromyalgia, I have had terrible muscle knots all over,
including my upper arms, legs, back, hips and buttocks. They would
shrink occasionally (particularly after receiving Raindrop Technique.)
But, then they’d become enlarged in size from intense cramping. For
immediate (and unfortunately very minimal) relief, I would use
BenGay/IcyHot type creams & herbal heating packs. For more long-term
results I tried the Raindrop Technique as well as a few different oral
magnesium products. Most of the magnesium supplements did not agree
with me and I would be “on the bowl” all day. Needless to say I
couldn’t continue with those. Then, I started taking the Calcium Plus
Calm daily (which includes magnesium). Although, I was still on some
maintenance meds, I was feeling pretty good during this time. This
particular product didn’t wreak havoc with the intestines like the
others and I was no longer crippled. Still, it seemed no matter how
much better I was feeling over all, these knots never went away. Well
in the past week or two some of them are gone and the rest have gotten
much smaller!!!! I love this magnesium gel & I highly recommend it!!
Until next time Amy.
I am 36 yrs old. I have had Fibromyalgia for about 4 years now. I was diagnosed 3 yrs ago.
At my worst, I walked with a cane (if I could walk) and took 2-4 hour naps daily. Small
tasks like washing dishes would render me completely incapacitated. My children had to
help me get dressed. At my best I was nauseous and exhausted. I constantly suffered from
both severe pain and extreme fatigue.
Needless to say, life as I once knew it had changed. I was once an active mother of two
small children who danced 2-3 times weekly. Fibromyalgia transformed me into what felt
like a 90 yr old woman.
I have tried a variety of things to find some relief and possibly help restore some
quality of life including many medications (Paxil, Flexiril, Vicodin, Percocet & others),
dietary changes, nutritional supplements, chiropractic adjustments and a number of other
alternative methods and techniques. Of all these, the most effective technique has been
the Raindrop Technique I received at The Breath of Life.
I experienced a major turn around in my health last May after my first time. I was able to
immediately begin weaning myself off the meds. As a result, I was more active (I could
swim in the ocean for the 1st time in 3yrs!) and lost some of the weight I had gained.
Although I still have occasional bad days, I have come a very long way. By now I’ve
had a total of five Raindrop sessions and I am completely off all of my medication!
