Learn how to tap and release negative emotions

Basically, the beginning points and/or end points of the Chinese Meridians are tapped at the same time you are using positive affirmations. Emotional issues are cleared by tapping on the beginning or end of these energy meridians while stating affirmations related to the issue to unblock energy in the body. These affirmations can be negative statements that surround this issue or may be affecting a particular organ, but then they should be followed by positive statements to strengthen the issue.

Tapping while repeating the negative statements will release them from the subconscious mind, especially if you smell the Release blend of (essential oils) at the same time that you are tapping. Afterword, tapping while repeating the positive statements or affirmations will strengthen that attitude in the subconscious mind especially if you use statements that start with I am, I choose, I intend, etc.

Smelling an essential oil blend that matches the desired positive emotion will enhance  the imprint. This restoration of balance simply eliminates emotional problems, and many concomitant physical difficulties or dis- ease.

EFT is a simple, rapid, respectful and effective way of healing a wide variety of fears, memories and conflicts. Its effects often seem miraculous, even to those who are skeptical, especially when combined with essential oils.

EFT is easy to use because of its flexibility. Here are some guidelines on how best to use it in order to enhance your experience.

  • You can tap with either hand but it is usually more convenient to do so with your dominant hand (e.g. right hand if you are right-handed ).
  • Tap with your finger tips of your index finger and middle finger. This covers a little larger area than just tapping with one fingertip and allows you to cover the tapping points more completely.
  • Tap solidly but not so hard as to hurt or bruise yourself.
  • Tap about 7 times on each of the tapping points. While tapping the 9 point, repeat your affirmation.
  • Most of the tapping points exist on either side of the body. It doesn’t matter which side you use nor dose it matter if you switch sides during the 9-point sequence. For example, you can tap under your right eye and, later in the sequence, tap under your left arm.

Many times there are emotional issues that cause problems in the energy field of an organ. These issues can be held in the tissues surrounding the organ, the aura of the body or even on the Chinese Meridians. EFT is a remarkable tool for eliminating emotional and  physical problems by re balancing the energy system of the body.

The Scale_________________________________________

It is best to have an idea of how strong the block or specific issue is that you want to clear before you begin. Use a scale of 0 to 10 (where 10 is the most intense) to identify how strong your emotions are about a specific topic. In other words, just tell your self, on a scale of 1-10, how strongly it is affecting you. After you complete an EFT tapping sequence, do a check-in on your emotions in relation to this scale again. Did they go up, stay the same or go down? You may tap until you reach a zero on this scale as it is an indicator of emotions released on the specific issue.

Be Specific___________________________________________

The more specific the better. Identify a specific person, place, experience, memory, sight,sound, event, feeling or sensation associated with the issue. An example of wording could be I feel fear when I think about (state the issue). My stomach starts to churn and get jittery. My heart rate rises. I wish I didn’t have to do (a particular issue). And even though I feel fear still completely and profoundly love and except myself. I choose to fell safety and security about ( thatparticular issue). I am excited about going to do this (particular issue). Tap each point while making the whole statement, and so on until you have tapped the entire sequence.

Check in____________________________________________

After completing an EFT sequence, pay attention to any thoughts, feelings or memories  that come to mind. They could be part of the block or issue you are releasing. Do the EFT tapping sequence on them to collapse them completely.

Be persistent____________________________________

Repeat the EFT sequence until you have released all of the emotions about the specific event. There could be many aspect or layers to a block or issue. So continue until all of them have been addressed or contact an EFT coach at The Breath of Life Wellness Center for guidance.

Flexibility______________________________________

You may tap on the EFT tapping points with either hand, on either the right or left side of the body depending on what is more comfortable for you.

As long as you tap in the general area of the point you will stimulate it so you don’t have to worry if you are on the exact spot.

Water________________________________________________

Dehydration has been found to affect the results experienced with EFT, so it is recommended that you drink water before, during and after EFT to stay hydrated.
